The Order of the Holy Flame (known as [FIRE] for the purposes of space-saving) is a small but growing guild in the game Guild Wars; we also intend to move to Guild Wars 2 when the game is released. The successor to the guild Brotherhood of the Sacred Band, [FIRE] is a Luxon-aligned, primarily PvE guild. Its founders are active in other games, including Kingdom of Loathing and Secret Society Wars.

The goal of [FIRE] is to have a guild that is large enoug to enable interesting events for its members, while still being small enough that members know and are friendly with one another. We prefer quality over quantity without question, and would far rather have fifty members who get along than five hundred members who hardly know each other.

The entire point of a game, in our eyes, is to have fun. Too many guilds focus on taking titles or faction to the exclusion of playing the game, which is something we want to avoid. Whether our members are focused on completing every quest or gaining as many maxed titles as they can, [FIRE] supports them in their efforts so long as they are enjoying themselves. This is not, and never will be, a guild that sets title, faction or other related requirements for members.
